SATCoL awarded TRUST Gold Accreditation
Salvation Army Trading Company Ltd (SATCoL) has been awarded TRUST Gold Standard accreditation for both its Kettering and Winchester processing centres, following an independent audit by Trader Recycling Universal Standard (TRUST).
As the UK's largest charity-owned textiles collector, SATCoL is committed to ensuring donated textiles are managed responsibly, ethically and sustainably.
The Gold Standard accreditation demonstrates the high standards maintained across its Clothing Collection Division and provides confidence to donors, partners and stakeholders that textiles are handled in line with recognised industry best practice.
The accreditation recognises excellence across key areas including health and safety, working conditions, environmental management and transport compliance.
The achievement places SATCoL among a select group of organisations to have attained TRUST's highest level of accreditation, reinforcing its commitment to operational excellence, sustainability and maximising the value of every donation received.
Every year, SATCoL helps give millions of donated textiles a new lease of life through reuse and recycling, while raising vital funds to support The Salvation Army's work in communities across the UK.
