The LARAC Conference is the leading event in the local authority waste and recycling calendar. Attracting more than 400 visitors (including 170 different authorities) for two days of expert presentations, practical workshops and second to none networking. SATCoL exhibited amongst some of our incredible partners including Jackie Bailey from WRAP who shared “It’s so great to be here, I am really enjoying seeing all the stands particularly The Salvation Army stand. It’s lovely to be with you guys.”

This years LARAC Conference and Celebration Awards 2022 covered interesting panel debates, external key note speakers, case studies, and discussions around: 'What if the Implementation of the consultations happened tomorrow', Environmental Actions within Local Authorities, Effective communications of a service change and Training and Green Skills, to name but a few.

Our National Senior Account Manager, Justin Frost shared “It’s great to see lots of old and new friends and partners throughout the local authority and also the waste companies, especially our good friends at FCC, we had a lovely evening with you guys. It’s always a good opportunity at LARAC to network and talk to new customers and explain what we do. We have a fantastic new stand this year, with the TV’s showing video content of what happens at our processing centre and what happens at our Wollaston location where we receive corporate donations. It’s about getting the message out about the good work that we do and how it benefits The Salvation Army.”
