The Salvation Army teams up with influencers to champion Donate by Post campaign

Salvation Army Trading Company (SATCoL), the trading arm of The Salvation Army has launched a dynamic new campaign to promote its Donate by Post service, enlisting the support of high-profile influencers to amplify the message of sustainability and social impact.

Leading the campaign are thought leaders and digital changemakers including:

Charity Shop Girl – a trusted voice in the charity retail space, known for her vibrant second-hand shopping and styling tips.

Besma Whayeb – sustainable fashion writer and content creator, advocating for conscious consumerism.

Laura Puddy - fashion presenter for ITV’s This Morning and fashion stylist.

Each influencer shares the ease of donating clothing and accessories by post and the broader mission of reducing textile waste. Filmed across high streets in communities across the UK including London, Birmingham and Liverpool, the vox pop series showcases everyday people learning about donating via SATCoL’s modern service in partnership with InPost.

As the largest charity owned textiles collector in the U.K, SATCoL’s reuse and recycling schemes, help to lessen the impact on overflowing landfill sites by extending the useful life of products and minimising waste. And what’s more, the profits raised from the donations received is given to The Salvation Army to continue to support the great work they do across the country.

The Salvation Army provide practical help for people in need, such as specialist support for survivors and potential victims of modern slavery, shelter for those experiencing homelessness and so much more.
